Camp Dads is an independent brotherhood of dads. This page explains what we collect on thecampdads.org, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect only what you type into the sign-up form, we use it only to connect you with a chapter and send the starter kit, and we never sell it.

What we collect

When you fill out the sign-up form, we receive:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your ZIP code
• Whether you want to come to a Campfire or start one

We also record when the form was sent, the browser type your device reports, and a scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address. We use the hashed version only to block spam and repeated automated sign-ups. We do not store your actual internet address.

How we use it

• To connect you with the nearest chapter, or help you start one.
• To send you the starter kit and follow up about Camp Dads.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who sees it

Your sign-up is emailed to the Camp Dads founders and stored with our web host. We may share your name, email, and ZIP code with the organizer of the chapter nearest you, so they can invite you to a Campfire. We do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Cookies and tracking

We do not set cookies, and we use no analytics, ads, or tracking pixels.

Two outside services handle part of every visit: Cloudflare, which delivers the site and protects it from attacks, and Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces. Like any service your browser contacts, they receive your internet address and basic browser details, and Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie to stop automated attacks. Their own privacy policies apply.

How long we keep it

We keep your sign-up for as long as we need it to connect you with a chapter and stay in touch. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your choices

Email us to see what we have about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. To stop hearing from us, reply to any email from us and say so.

Children

This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this page, we will update the date at the top.
